Spring is here 〰️
Looking for some spring inspiration?
Here is a roundup of some lovely makers and shops where you can inject some spring into your home and wardrobe.
I always enjoy doing a Christmas gift guide featuring designers and makers I have met that year and whose work I love and thought why not do a spring edit! This of course includes some of my most cheerful jewellery to wear on these glorious longer days!
I have just found Celia Wood!
Instagram feels like a never ending source of procrastination however, it does allow you to find gems in the maker world. I have been introduced to Celia Wood’s ceramics very recently and I love her illustrative style on rustic ceramic shapes.
Based in Edinburgh you can see here website HERE
Ola Studio
Some of you may recognise this printed paper - I use the lovely Ola Studio to gift wrap my jewellery and I couldn’t recommend it more!
Based in Bristol, Ola Studio has a wide range of products - view their website HERE
Style your Spaces
I was introduced to Katie a few years ago when I was doing pop-ups in Edinburgh. Originally a food stylist she has gone onto open an incredible shop in Edinburgh along with a very well stocked website. If you are heading to Edinburgh this year, it is well worth a visit! See her website HERE
Morgans Falmouth
Heading to the other end of the country is this lovely gallery (and one of my stockists) Morgans Falmouth. It showcases a range of artwork, ceramics and jewellery and has one of the most beautiful spaces to exhibit them in. The artwork featured in this picture is by Diane Whalley and I love her palette!
See their website HERE but I also recommend havig a look at their Instagram for beautiful imagery!
Jewellery
I always associate aquas and lime greens with spring time. I love using these colours within my work and combining the two together. I have been using these colours since 2014 and still find them fresh and contemporary.
See below my ‘Spring Edit’ from pieces from my website. Each one handmade in Glasgow and inspired by the coastlines of the Isle of Skye.
