November Commissions
Finished commissions this November
I wanted to show you one of my latest commissions that I was really pleased with.
I was brought two diamond set rings and asked to make a brooch and remodel one of the rings. After looking through my brooch collection the silver scatter brooch was decided upon with the three diamonds scattered thoughout and the left over 18ct white gold to be used as well. This was such a joy to make and after many different placements of the diamonds we came to a decision. This first draft of how to use the gold wasn’t quite right so this was reworked and added as a ‘chunky’ triangle onto of the scatter design.
The requirements for the ring were to simplify it and make it more modern. There wasnt a huge amount of metal to work with however, I made a statement setting for the gorgeous diamond with a very simple band.
Stacked Buoy Ring
This ring was inspired by a design I had in the shop. We increased the size of the face of the ring and chose this gorgeous pink Tourmaline. It is set in 18ct and has a surround of silver cylinders which are hand cut and placed at different angles.
Hopefully more of this design to come!
